Children of Love Foundation completed the first building at our orphanage in La Paz, Honduras in November 2000. It is used for community meeting and to prepare food for poor and orphaned children. Our second building, a six bedroom, two bath facility, is finished and is the home for up to 36 children. The first floor was completed in November 2002, and the second floor was completed in 2004. There are three vocational school rooms dedicated to baking, sewing, and construction. In these rooms we are able to provide education to less fortunate children who may never have the opportunity for schooling. Our new Chapel was finish in 2006 by our Friends of FAITH VIERA LUTHERAN CHURCH of Melbourne. The name of this building is “Restoration love of Christ”.A farm with bananas and coffee helps support the foundation. A Truck arrived in May of 2008 to assist us in transporting children, mission groups and picking up supplies for the foundation. Operation barefoot washes the feet of individuals in the community and provides them with a new pair of shoes and other supplies. In 2010, we have received over 150 new pairs of shoes and more than 200 'gently used' pairs. The Foundation sponsors Servant Events for groups who are able to travel.
